Ghost Tours in Louisville

Virtual Louisville Tours on Facebook Live

Like so many other businesses, Louisville Historic Tours is really feeling the impact that COVID-19 is having on our local community. When the new tour season started up again on March 15, we were still able to offer tours, but that quickly ground to a halt. Now, we’re counting down the days till we can be back on the streets of Old Louisville, showing off the great architecture and sharing stories with locals and out-of-towners alike. But, for the time being, we’re all in the same boat and we have to make the best out of a terrible situation.

Virtual Louisville Tours during COVID

Since it looks like we’re all going to be homebound for the foreseeable future, I’ve decided to share some of the most popular stories from the evening ghost tour via Facebook Live which is hosted on my page which is located here:  https://www.facebook.com/david.domine.5. Our first virtual Louisville tour was Friday evening 3/27.  I had a great time talking about the ghost of Annie Whipple and the legend of the Witches’ Tree, which stands at the corner of Sixth and Park in Old Louisville.

Tonight, 3/29, at 9PM, we’ll have the second installment, as I tell the eerie tale of the “Man from the Killing Tree.” If you’re not familiar with Facebook Live, it’s very easy to join me and the others as I do my bit of storytelling: Just be on Facebook tonight and at 9PM you should see a window pop up, announcing that I am going live. Open the window and join the fun. Please let us know where you’re joining us from and feel free to comment and strike up conversations with the others. If you can’t make it live, don’t worry. The video will be available to watch at a later date as well. Just go to my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/david.domine.5) to find it. This coming week, I will be sharing other popular stories as well – just stay tuned to find out when.

If you’re not able to attend but would still like to see the stories, please visit my page and the stories would be recorded so you can view them anytime.  If you’d like to patronize Louisville Historic Tours during this shutdown, please consider purchasing one of my books or t-shirts which you can find on our merchandise page:  https://louisvillehistorictours.com/merchandise/

Look forward to seeing you Facebook live!
