St. James Court Fountain

One of the finest fountains in Louisville which resides in St. James Court. A beautiful fountain whose railings were taken from a demolished theatre in downtown Louisville and repurposed just for it. A ghost boy is said to haunt this area on chilly nights in the Fall.

The fountain is seen on both Louisville tours.

This house is positioned one of the many walking courts in Old Louisville. Every Louisville tour group is taken through these historic walking courts that date back to the Victorian era. Houses would line both sides of the streets to face each and a green space would separate the houses. People could have their “evening constitutional” in order to see and bee seen.

The walking courts of Old Louisville are seen on both Louisville tours.
